This website will tell you exactly where the nearest DMV is, and all of the details about it such as address, telephone number, and hours of operation.

What should I bring with me?
You will want to bring proper identification along with proof of car insurance. You may also need a completed bill of sale or title transfer form if necessary for a new vehicle purchase. If you are registering your vehicle for the first time in California, there are additional documents you will want to bring including emissions test results (if applicable), proof of ownership document from the previous owner or authorized dealer, an odometer disclosure statement (for vehicles less than 10 years old) and payment for any fees associated with registration services.
